C section pain months on

Posting here for traffic.
I had an emergency section 7 years ago and a planned one 4 months ago. After my first section I never had any pain after the initial healing. This time though I'm experiencing soreness, pulling sensations and what feels almost like cramps under and around the scar area. It has all healed on the outside so it must be something going on under the surface of the skin. It comes and goes and feels worse after walking/standing for a long time or doing anything too vigorous.
Has anyone else had this?

I’ve had 3 sections.

recovery from the 2nd was much more painful than the 1st, and recovery from the 3rd much more painful than the 2nd.

i think it’s due to adhesions from the previous surgery each time.

I found postnatal yoga to be helpful to get things back to normal.

Possibly worth talking to your GP about?

Agree with pp. No c sections here but multiple abdo surgeries and sounds like scar tissue. Try massaging the area daily.

Hiya
Sorry to hear your struggling. Have you got a protruding lump from your c section scar - after my first c-section I ended up with an incisional hernia, where some of the layers they had sewn up afterwards had popped open so intestine was poking through causing a quite large lump across my stomach, obviously the top layers of skin were still stitched together. This was super painful. After a second c-section they attempted to correct it but it’s popped open again but not as painful luckily. Maybe ask a doctor to check not that? Xx

Probably caused by deep scar tissue. You could try to massage it yourself (Google how)or seek advice from women's health physio (privately probably - not horrendously expensive)

Did your c section pain improve? I’m experiencing the same thing
