What are the chances?

We’re doing a 3 week road trip across Europe with hotels booked and a big family event in one country so can’t cancel.

The thought of sitting in gridlock for hours and hours to get on the Eurotunnel, before all the driving we’re going to be doing anyway, is starting to make me feel slightly anxious.

The port at Dover was fine yesterday but the Eurotunnel was a nightmare. Yesterday was supposed to be the busiest day though - I don't think it will be nearly as bad by Tuesday.

I’ve read weekends until the schools go back will be the same

midweek you may well be ok

have a nice hol!

FWIW - IMO it’s worth it. We went to Crete last year and the stress w kids getting Covid beforehand, pre fly tests and random tests on arrival plus before return was v stressful by Jesus wept it was worth it!

Cancelled our tunnel booking for Weds, taking the ferry instead.

@Lindasllama

Well if you could get your mates in the EU, (the French), to supply sufficient staff there wouldn't be a problem.

Why should they?
