Having to precooked pool sessions on holiday

Ok so we are a large family of 5 Who has booked a stay and play Haven break for 3 weeks time.
We have only been able to prebook 2 sessions for the whole holiday as each booking is allowed 14 sessions.
AIBU to think the number of sessions should be bases on per person not per booking as a family of 3 can book 4 sessions but we can book only two.
Or should we just suck it up?

The booking system for swimming means not having to queue for ages. If you don't know the layout of most Havens, that generally involves queueing through the pub or arcade, so not the best place to be stood with small children in swimwear. The food is awful on site anyway, worse than a very cheap chain pub but twice the price. When we went at half term you coukd book extra swimming slots once on site, outdoor pool was open to walk ins all day and indoor pool after 6pm.

It’s totally shit and they need to stop it as other holiday parks will get the business instead, however, you need to go to the customer services desk and book your swim sessions in person for that day.

As an aside, if Haven think that charging £100+ just for the privilege of being able to book activities (compared to a ‘Hideaway’ holiday) is worth it and then still charge you for the activity itself, I think that’s pretty shambolic.

We went to Haven at May half term. We couldn't book any indoor swimming slots as they filled up so quickly but it worked out fine as there's no booking for the outdoor pool so the kids got themselves there for opening! It was our first Haven holiday and I've already booked for next year! We ate in the caravan every night and frankly its excellent value if you get a deal

@VainAbigail yeah some of the extra activities seem pricey. £22 to build a probably crappy bear for example. It actually puts the more expensive Activities included places back in the frame TBH.
