Think I may just need a kick up the arse.

I have a ticket to see the prodigy tonight in London. When I bought the tickets I was going with my 18 year old son but hes gone travelling and my husband has other commitments.....
I've wanted to see them forever but fear I'm now overthinking it....
Is a solo 40 ish year old woman who is neither off her tits or drinking ( 2 hour drive either way) going to stand out like a sore thumb ?!?! I've realised that I havent even been to london on my own for about 20 years either!!! Ffs . Please someone hand me a grip!!

things I like rather than what dh and the children want to do

I didn’t discover some of my own tastes and preferences until I stopped being constantly part of a couple. Music was a revelation! Suddenly realised I’d been listening to some things for years without ever actually liking them. And found I had a huge love for other genres that I’d previously taken a back seat in because they were the other person’s ‘thing’.

Not suggesting you become immediately single, obviously! But realising you can prioritise and develop your own, independent ways of enjoying life is truly liberating.
