So to clarify, I haven't done this - but after reading a post regarding people parking to close to other people so they struggle to get in/out it got me thinking...

Would it be unreasonable to park in a mother & child parking spot if in the later stages of pregnancy but with no child?

I am currently 31 weeks, so certainly not 'heavily pregnant' but my bump seems to be huge and sitting very high. I am already finding it difficult to move around so dread to know how I'm going to feel in a months time.

One struggle I am having (mainly down to unsuitably low 3 door car with large doors in which I am in the process of getting rid of for something more suitable) is getting in and out of the car, especially now parking spaces seem to be getting smaller and smaller (?!)
I am currently parking as far away from other cars as possible, which is usually the other side of the car park to allow me to swing my door open as wide as possible and swing my legs out so to not have to squeeze bump through a tiny gap and risk damaging other peoples cars, and will probably continue to do so even though it means a mammoth walk most of the time.

But I did wonder other poeples opinion's on whether heavily pregnant women get a pass for parking in mother and child spaces - or whether this would be unreasonable if you don't have a child to unpack from the car?

YABU - M&C spaces are for unpacking children only, keep waddling preggo.

YANBU - M&C spaces could be used for preggo's with huge bumps who are struggling with mobility.

Yes I think it's fine for pregnant ladies to park in parent and child spaces.

Totally reasonable
