Need quick-ish advice re: car

Just put a deposit down for a used Honda CRV 7-seater.
Was reassured by the sales person that there is a parcel shelf to cover the boot when the third row of seats are down, so contents are not seen from outside. Now just been emailed that they made a mistake and there is no attachment for the shelf and so they don't have one. In all other respects the car is right for us and our current needs.

What do those with similar 7-seaters do to cover the things in their boot??

TIA

Thank you all for the help. We are going to have a look again at the car. I suspect a combo of tinted windows and a dark rug would mean that it would be tricky for potential thieves to see much, even that there is a blanket in there.
Will feedback in case others are interested!

I'm intrigued to know what's in your boot that needs covering?? The only person I know who ever uses that shelf is a vet who carries drugs around. We've had the 5 seater Honda CRV and now have a different make of 7 seater and I've never used the shelf, or in any other car either.

Literally anything. If a potential thief can see a bag or something in a boot they are more likely to break in than if they can't see what might be in car.

My Zafira has a pull out cover that has two positions so it can cover the full boot or sit behind the boot seats.

I feel that we have been mis-sold and am miffed!

They've literally flagged it up before purchase. They thought it had one, have realised their error and let you know as they knew it was important to you. That’s about as far from mis-selling as possible. If it’s a dealbreaker just get your deposit back.

Oh gosh thanks for that bit of useful advice.
