No garden and worried about heat

Another hot weather post.

I don’t have a garden and in my area the heat is reaching 37 degrees.
I also have a 3 and half year old.

Any tips for us indoors would be greatly appreciated.

I think many people with gardens will be staying out of them Monday and Tuesday. I certainly will. It'll be far easier to keep cool indoors. I'll probably have a sit in the garden really early (6 am ish) and then come inside.
I'm working from home anyway tomorrow which helps

Oh God, yes - on the hottest days (last summer I think was 36/37ish for a few days in a row?) I don’t even open the back door apart from hanging washing out.
We are fortunate to have a lovely garden but Mon and Tues will be TV days with the curtains closed!!
