Been on the pill for years, had a pill review done last Monday was told script would be sent to pharmacy by the Thursday. Still nothing! I’ve been told by friends it’s getting harder and harder to access contraception from the GP now, apparently they don’t want to do it. Am I wrong for being annoyed? I have the pill to stop my periods as they are horrendous. I am not having a period and soaking through a super plus tampon in under 30 minutes. I need access to my medication.

Hopefully it is just an error that needs chasing up. Sometimes mistakes happen.

However, I was explicitly told by a doctor that they didn’t provide any contraception. To quote her “we don’t do that here”. I had to go to a sexual health clinic instead.

Unfortunately, it does happen.
