To not tell DH I’ve been cheating???

So; DH is away on holiday for a few days with DS.

at a bit of a loose end, a bit bored: you know how it is.... anyway... I’ve ended up cheating on him....

ive started watching the other episodes of the drama we were watching together...

should I tell him:

yanbu: don’t tell him, just watch them again with him

yabu: that’s a terrible breach of trust: you must confess as soon as possible

Our only genuine argument was caused by me cheating and finishing mandalorian, keep it a secret, you can login and make it look like the episode has never been watched. Or do what I’ve done and make an account for your child, so next time they can be the fall guy.

Themidnightcat · 12/07/2022 22:06

You can tell by these comments how much MN hates men if this was a man they'd be saying he's disgusting and-

Just kidding! Don't tell him, re watch the episodes with him and look surprised Grin

Blue4YOU · 12/07/2022 22:10

Imagine if a man came on here saying this!
double standards

greenerfingers · 12/07/2022 22:11

I'm a serial cheater. I do it every time then bite my tongue BlushBlush

HotHeatDays · 12/07/2022 22:13

I absolutely haven't watched any of the new Seal Team episodes that we are going to watch together at the weekend whilst DH is away. Nope not me.

InChocolateWeTrust · 12/07/2022 22:13

This is fucking low behaviour OP.

Couldnt you restrain yourself?

LunaAndHerMoonDragons · 12/07/2022 22:15

Blatant double standards, you cheated on him and now everyone is suggesting you gaslight him too. He deserves to know the truth, so he can decide if he can get past this or not. If he posted I'd tell him to LTB.

FlipFlopShopInHawaii · 12/07/2022 22:17

I watch ahead regularly. Pretty sure I have my ooohhs and aaahhs at appropriate times down to a tee now. I've never seen this before honest.......

SpilltheTea · 12/07/2022 22:21

Multiple episodes? That's beyond forgiveness, take it to the grave.

I used to google the GoT spoilers when the episodes were released in the US. Never telling OH, he would have been heartbroken 😂

Same here! 😂

Stylishkidintheriot · 12/07/2022 22:58

its the first time anything like this has happened in our 20 years together. I think he has his suspicions as he was asking what I have been doing and I was kind of vague.

slightly worried the daily heil will pick this up and he’ll put 2 and 2 together: he would easily guess this is my username

Stylishkidintheriot · 12/07/2022 22:59

@InChocolateWeTrust so, you’ve never made a mistake?!! I’m thoroughly ashamed of myself: but do you expect me to live in hair shirts and put ashes in my hair?

Musti · 12/07/2022 22:59

He knows that I can’t physically watch the same thing twice so for that reason I would have to fess up

ladyjadie · 12/07/2022 23:52

See I’m in the opposite boat- I’m 100% faithful but I’m somehow really good at guessing plot twists, who the secret baddie is etc (my sole talent and sadly useless as doesn’t translate to RL) and my OH in the beginning used to accuse me of cheating and watching ahead when I hadn’t! I pointed out the lack of red “watched” bar tho which reassured him, and now he just appreciates my cynicism of the “too nice” character and lifetime of crime shows amazing intuition with a high five every time I’m right! Grin

montysma1 · 13/07/2022 00:24

Dont tell.
You are just going to have to sit through it all twice feigning surprise . Thats what I do.

There is the added advantage, if its a crime drama, of putting forward your remarkably accurate theories.....but this requires a degree of guile and cunning, you dont want to over egg it!

ouch321 · 13/07/2022 00:27

Well this is more than a tad cringy.

Are you a journalist practising your click bait skills...

Honestly...

Stylishkidintheriot · 13/07/2022 14:25

You seem fun

10HailMarys · 13/07/2022 14:47

I swear to god that if the next series of Succession drops on a day when DP's out of the house, I will not be responsible for my actions.

FeliciaFancybottom · 13/07/2022 15:06

Hide the evidence and rewatch with him, every time something revelatory happens gasp and clutch your chest in an exaggerated manner and whisper, "I didn't see that coming". Trust me he'll be none the wiser.

Northernlurker · 13/07/2022 19:27

Was it worth it?

The betrayal, the lies?

Was it fulfilling?

If so crack on and don't say a word Grin

Aquamarine1029 · 13/07/2022 19:28

Take this to the grave.
