Someone can't shut up boasting about their kids' successes, day after day, and letting down other kids that she knows.

Do you know this person? Are they in your life? How do you deal with them??

It says more about the parent than the child.

I sit smugly and think mine are doing just as well, the important people in their lives know what they are doing (including when they are wee shits) and I don't need to post it all over social media.

Let's not kid on - all our kids are bloody fantastic (even when they are not). Some crave the attention of people saying how clever or beautiful their kids are and the rest of us just get on with the everyday parenting without plastering it over social media.
