Hotel changing offer, can I cancel?

Booked and paid for a hotel for the night on the premise that it next to a famous attraction and tickets for the attraction were included (Worth £70) I've now got an email saying that this offer has been withdrawn. The offer was the only reason we booked that hotel.

AIBU to say the contract we had with the hotel is now void because they are not providing what we paid for?

I'm surprised they didn't offer a refund along with the email telling you the offer was withdrawn and yeah of course you should be entitled to a refund, have you asked them for one?

Surely the have to honour it if you have paid in full? Perhaps you should name and shame

I suspect there is something in the teems of the offer suggesting it can be withdrawn, changed or is subject to availability. Will it cost more than £70 to cancel?

Haven't looked at the cancellation terms as I thought I'd wait and see what they said first. Happy to name and shame, it's the Mitre hotel next to Hampton Court. Not impressed at the moment, I'm still waiting for them to get back to me.

It's really annoying and disappointing, but I suspect the hotel will say that the purpose of the hotel is to provide you with accommodation, which you are still able to take advantage of. Offers are usually subject to change and I imagine they probably have something along those lines in their Ts&Cs.
