What is your AIBU?

Flappyflaps · 04/07/2022 22:21

But getting reports from people that have travelled today that they needed to prove fully vaccinated or negative tests results 🤷‍♀️

I think it's a good idea to travel with your NHS Covid pass as a matter of course these days. There are so many rules to keep up with. I just keep mine with my passport.

lospolloshermanosass · 04/07/2022 22:26

Just download your covid pass then.

Flappyflaps · 04/07/2022 22:34

What do you mean download covid pass, the gov site is saying for Portugal don’t need any proof of vaccination or testing.

so do those with one vaccination need to bother doing anything else 🤷‍♀️

We are due to fly to Portugal in August, one of my children is unvaccinated (badly timed covid infection prevented her from getting all the vaccinations in time) so she would need to do the pre-flight PCR. I was really pleased to read about this change on Gov.uk today, concerned it may be an error now, uuurggh.

But why wouldn't you have it on you phone anyway, what"s the downside to downloading the app?

Im confused what is a “covid pass”?

my son is due to travel to Portugal this week, he’s had two jabs but the second one was only last week. The gov site says anyone travelling doesn’t need to prove vaccination or proof of a negative test.

so why are airlines/airports asking for this? It’s all madness

It’s in quite a few newspapers too that from the 1st July Portugal have changed rules and no tests or vaccines needed so it baffles me why airports are asking for it 🤷‍♀️ is it a money spinning thing that the airports are doing ?
