A bikini on holiday?

I braved it last time but it was 3 years ago and I'm a stone up since then

I remember being way cooler (as in temperature, I'm 44 and way past being cool cool 😎 )

I don’t think I’ve worn a bikini since I was about 8 years old. I like to swim and I’m always nervous about things coming undone or floating away. But I admire very much the ladies of all sizes and shapes and ages who rock their bikinis on Mediterranean beaches.

I went for a dive, popped back up and so did my boob, out of the bloody bra! To top it off I was barely off my teenage years, so I felt double the shame as teenagers do. The only good part was that I was a bit far from the shore but I can still remember the embarrassment! Hahha!

I think it's more about getting a better quality top than staying in your one piece swimsuit! It was a long time ago but I think the one I was wearing was probably a bit too loose (under the chest) and it was definitely the wrong shape so it was bound to go pear-shaped! There are so many choices now, it's just about looking for sth more appropriate which mine wasn't!

I would not recommend Shein for plus size bather tops if you have big boobs. I have bought a couple, although I usually go tankinis, and even when they fit perfectly everywhere else the cup size is literally half the size I need. Mine are around 38F.

Yes! I wore one to the beach last week and it was fantastic, although I ended up with a royally sunburnt stomach as I hadn't worn one in so long, I forgot to put sunscreen on even though the rest of my body was slathered in it! It was lovely though😁

I got mine from Joules - it was quite pricey but they're excellent quality and they go up to a size 24, I'd really recommend.
