Is anybody else 30+ and still has spots?

I had tons until around the age of 27, especially on my chin, but luckily they've reduced quite a lot.
However I still have some now at 31. I always have a small cluster on my chin which I guess is hormonal, but I still get a few others too. Used to get cystic acne which luckily I don't anymore, but I have a lot of little pimples.
I take the contraceptive pill, and I use products that are supposed to help them but still there. Anyone else? It's pretty frustrating..
I still get more around my period, and when I haven't slept well.

I find I get spottier when I drink dairy milk. When I switch to oat and soya milk etc my skin is better. And obviously drinking loads of water.

Also what helps - exfoliating face around 3 times per week.
Double cleanse every night. I use a cream cleanser then a gel cleanser etc. it makes a BIG difference.

And niacinamide acid/serum is really good for reducing spots and pore size.

I use the niacinamide acid from Garden of Wisdom.

Are you a smoker OP? I have oily skin but spots reduced massively when I quit smoking (at 40). Jeez, cant believe I was still smoking at 40.

Yep. Before every period I get an awful flare up of painful spots. I had BAD acne as a teen and it's not that bad, it goes when I've had my period but it's so annoying. Obviously my hormones.

I'm 36. Not loads but before my period they pop up again without fail. The thing I have not grown out of, unfortunately, is picking.

Try and LED face mask with red and blue light. You have to use it consistently but it definitely helps

Always had at least some spots along my chin up to my early 30s. Had various treatments in my teens and intermittently in my 20s. Wouldn’t go out without makeup. Has been significantly better since 1st pregnancy and now often go without makeup. Appreciate that is quite the step to take though!

I had roaccutane in my late 20s which did really help (but didn’t completely stop every spot). Last year I started skin&me to try and clear up the remaining ones, I felt that it took ages to work but again has made an improvement- still get the odd one every month so I’ve not found the miracle cure yet!
I have a discount code for skin&me if anyone wants then pm me
