To think that Burger King is dirty?

Out of all the fast food chains every time I go into Burger King it seems to be filthy! Often see wrappers on the floor, BBQ sauce smeared all over the tables, and the grouting etc stuff is always black instead of white like it should be. Also the staff all seem to be uni drop outs and don’t care about the job. McDonald’s on the other hand is the exact opposite. Always clean, friendly staff, just get a really nice vibe compared to Burger King!

I've only ever been in Burger King once, this was a week ago, and I almost slipped over with my baby in my arms because there was so much grease on the floor.

I don't ever go into them, have occasionally used ones at stations. Just from walking past all of the fast food chains, I'd say they are not the worst.

My local one is clean.

They're never as busy as McDonald's and have less staffing in for each shift.

You can't get a seat in the local McDonald's every single day it is packed with people acting its like a closing day sale.

Why do you keep returning if you don't like it? Especially if it seems unhygienic.

Agree with others KFC is disgusting.

We got a BK for the first time in ages recently and I nearly choked on my chips when DH told me how much it was. It was much more expensive than McDs and, yes, they always seem filthy!

We went to a BK for the first time in years last week. It was revolting in there. Despite there being only 2 customers sitting down when we entered, all of the tables were filthy and the floor throughout was covered in god knows what. The food was grim too. There was plenty of staff and no drive through queue so I have to assume they just can’t be arsed to give the tables a wipe. We don’t got to fast food places much but whenever we do visit our local Mcd’s, it’s absolutely immaculate because they have dedicated cleaning staff on shift all the time. As soon as you stand up your table and seats are cleaned and the floors and general areas are just kept clean all the time.
I agree with PP who also said KFC’s are infested holes too. I wouldn’t step foot in one now after last few experiences.

All fast food like that is minging imo.

as opposed to giving it everyday or outright restricting it? The latter is thought by experts to be the worse as then kids will go mad for it-you always want what you can't have.

I disagree with you in that kids should be taught that occasional junk food as part of a balanced diet is fine.

The Burger King closest to us is very clean and bright. The staff, however, are not particularly friendly and always seem a bit impatient, even when the place is almost empty. We hadn’t been since before the pandemic and nipped in about a month ago. The prices! Think we’ll be sticking to McDonald’s from now on.

I love BK sadly few are around if we do get it it’s from a drive through

McD’s is always spotless apart from in Australia (ones I went to) for sown reason. In some Sydney branches they have needle bins

KFC we have a nice new shiny KFC but get it delivered

tbh I’m don’t get too worried about how clean it is as I know many restaurants we would rather not see the kitchens

I only ever eat at fast food places if they are in motorway service stations.

McDonald's is definitely clean but KFC is not where I live.

The only one we go to is at Stansted airport (not many options in arrivals) and I do find it a bit depressing, even though the staff are nice and it isn't actually dirty.

Struggling here to see what this has to do with anything.

Wait until you see the conditions the animals are kept in.

Btw the McDonald's in the UK are really clean but the ones abroad are variable, especially in the US.

Haven't been in BK for many many but walk passed one regularly and it is grim looking. Always litter on the floor, tables are dirty etc.

The nearby McDonalds look bright and inviting in comparison and have people working in the lobby to keep it tidy.

As a non meat eater I prefer BK. McDonald’s smells and tastes of plastic to me.

The only time I ever use is on motorway journeys and the dining bits are normally shared with other places. Never noticed behind the counter being unclean.

If BK can't keep the areas clean that you can see, why would anyone think they clean their kitchens

It's a shame, I used to enjoy BK but wouldn't risk it now
