Friend ill - covid ? Wants a lift

My DD and I are meant to be seeing two friends this evening to go to an open air event as part of my DD's birthday.
First of all, my friend kind of wangled a lift from me which takes DD and I out of our way but, okay, I relented to that (it's a surprise for my adult DD who has SEN, I said initially we'd meet them there).
Now my friend is saying she's been ill since last night, feels worse today (very covid sounding symptoms), she's done two tests (negative) but I'm a bit reluctant to share a car with her now, I don't want my DD to catch anything (covid or not) also I sing in a band and we have a big gig coming up next weekend that's been sold out for ages ... AIBU to ask that they make their own way there ? At least we shall be outside once we arrive at the event.

I wouldn't give a friend a lift in these circumstances but tbh I don't think of my friends (or acquaintances) would expect a lift if they were ill with these symptoms.
