Passport in maiden name and covid pass in married name - help!!

just wondering if anyone is / has been in the same situation.

we are meant to be travelling to France in august and my vaccine pass is showing in my married name. My passport is still in my maiden name and I don’t want to send it off to change it with all the delays at the passport office.

I have asked my GP surgery if they will change my name back to my maiden name and they have refused!

can I just take my marriage certificate with me? I have a while to figure it out but would rather get it sorted sooner rather than later.

grateful to anyone who can offer any advice! Thank you xx

I work for an airline and this happens all the time. Take your marriage certificate or any proof with your new name on .

Where are you going. Is it Spain?

Just travelled to Spain (24/6) and in the same boat with passport in maiden name and covid cert in married name. I brought my marriage cert with me just in.case but they are just doing spot checks now and we didn't get stopped.

Take your marriage certificate with you.

Do you have a driving licence or other ID, cards etc. in your married name?

I live in France and women don't legally change their names on marriage, they just sort of informally adopt their married names if they want to, so the French are very used to women having different documents in different names. I reckon as long as you've got some proof of both your names it should be fine.
