Been on holiday for a week so have been watching and involved with loads of kids and families. So many Disney dads taking their kid to the toy shop to bribe them into behaving.

Hmm I mean there’s not a ton for kids to do at Sani Club itself other than the pool and little playground so shop makes a nice change sometimes. The shop was utterly extortionate though so I would more worry about the terrible value for money they are getting rather than that they’re treating their kids 😄

I agree, Sani is lovely but is full of people in Boden and is very expensive, it’s good for childcare but not if you actually want to do something with your kids. It reminded me a bit of the Truman Show Grin

I'm obv jealous cos I'm poor working class but I never get these type of holidays with young kids. My friend went to the Maldives just before lockdown so her son was 4. Beautiful photos on the beach etc but none of him really playing, enjoying the local culture etc. An adults holiday they took the child on. I get you might want to throw the kids I na couple of days holiday club if you're away for a few weeks but what do you do together the rest of the time?

ImNotYourHunHun · 20/06/2022 12:24

Tip for you OP, don't ever go to Florida if you can't handle parents buying their kids toys....... it's full of Disney dads, mums, siblings, heck it's just full on Disney!🤣

Nice to see you have stopped responding so are obviously now spending that quality time with your family - exactly what holidays are all about whether you're in Greece at Sani Club or in Butlins!

Oh and PS.... whist Sani Club is beautiful, there are much more nicer places in the world which would be worthy of the stealth brag Wink

The kids club was amazing

Jesus. A dad buys his kid a toy and he's a shit dad? We're currently on holiday at a holiday park type thing with kids entertainment. All the parents seem lovely as do the kids.
Our son has also had lots of new toys, he's on holiday and it's part of the fun.

Just off holiday too and so much cajoling, arguing around us and yes with ours too. And we all do the bribery thing (ice cream is our go to on holidays), but I’d disagree that there’s more bad times than not, the highlight of my holiday was watching the kids in these organised dance classes and chatting to them about it after or chatting to elders in the pool/walking on the beach

Glad it’s not just me 😄 I don’t think we’d go back TBH. We went with one 2.5 year old, now we have 3 kids it’s not really the type of holiday that would suit us now, they’d be climbing the walls. Nice restaurants and we got a free upgrade to a huuuuuge bungalow though.

On the last day my husband bit into a room service hot dog thing and there was a SCREW in it 🤣 no reflection on Sani and they couldn’t apologise enough and (told us) they dropped that supplier within an hour, but just a funny story haha 😄

At least you’re on holiday. Put the phone down and you’ll enjoy it more

MassiveSalad22 · 20/06/2022 13:27

Also I can’t say Sani without thinking of sanitary bins.
