To wonder about cash games?

I mean the ones I see advertised when I am playing some daft game on my phone. The ads that come up between levels in whatever game has currently caught my attention for a few weeks. Today I have seen ads for cash solitaire, bubble pop and another I can't remember.
They sound too good to be true. Surely you don't play some daft game and just win money. Has anyone ever done them and won a significant amount that has cost them nothing but time?
I don't need the money its just something that I have only started seeing recently so am curious.

Only one where I have played and won £300 without investing anything was on 888 casino (except the initial £10 matched bet, but you don't lose that money if you back/lay the bet and then you get £30 I believe of free bets plus a £10 free voucher for casino slot games). It's the free £10 casino voucher where I won £300 and was able to withdraw it.

I was curious enough to Google that, Sweeney, & it sounded like hardly anyone ever actually wins anything.

They make a very convincing case, but there's absolutely no way any of these apps ever give away free money - ever.

Most likely they are scams - usually they have free 'tournaments' that you enter and invariably do well or win and they give you some kind of in-game gems/coins etc. They will also have 'tournaments' that you have to pay to enter - say £10 entry to win £500. You will never win these and invariably lose your money. They are unregulated so no enforcement agencies to turn to.

Avoid at all costs!!

It's possible that they might give you 'credit' you for watching ads, but it will be fractions of pennies and not worth the hassle.
