Congratulations!

We have baby robins in our conifer tree. They're getting confused and thinking we're their parents. We found out when our particularly stupid siamese had the parent robin, literally fly into her gob. We shook it out of her gob, and it went and sat on the fence, scolding us all roundly. It comes to sit on the fence with a beak full of food for the babies, and looks at us pointedly until we all bugger off inside.

A young Ukrainian couple have come to live with us for a while. They’re lovely and it’s a pleasure having them here. We are doing all we can to help them settle and will provide as much support as they need. So far it’s been a really positive experience.

How gorgeous! I hope all the babies make it!
