If you hardly ever catch a cold or bug what’s your secret to having a good immune system and staying healthy?!

I have no secret. It's a mystery to me. I have a very unhealthy lifestyle and certainly deserve to get ill, but I just don't.

(Ironically I am sitting here with a streaming cold right now - I keep thinking "It must be Covid because I don't get colds! And this has lasted FIVE DAYS." The last proper illness I remember having is swine flu in about 2009 - which just meant two days unable to move off the armchair - though I think there may have been two or three sniffly days in the intervening years.)

I do have seasonal allergies and asthma, however. And I haven't always been so healthy. When I was a kid I used to get a throat infection about once a month until they finally took my tonsils out when I was 21.

I've never had a stomach bug in my life. I certainly can't think of a time nor can my DM. My DM played it fast and loose with use by dates. Yogurts were still good to go a month after use by date, don't know if that contributed to a tough constitution. However I do get a cold once every two years or so.

For last 5 years I've had green smoothie every morning with lots of vegetables and lemon and I add pukka clean greens (powdered goodness such as spirilina). I've not really had any illness (incl covid) in that time. I do think it helps me be more energic too.
