Posted for traffic, sorry in advance!

just saw a man kicking and hitting his dog with a stick. I’m with my 2 young children so couldnt confort him. Took pictures he saw me and then started shouting obscenities so he seemed quite volatile. I don’t know his name but I’ve got pics of him and his dog.

who can I call how can I report this?

ive been on hold to 101 for 30 mins in this time hes long gone. Also called council (off my work phone simultaneously tsk tsk naught me lol) but they said without a name and address they can’t do anything.

can I report this or is he going to get away with it … hate animal cruelty

RSPCA are the only organisation that can help. You need clear evidence of it which you have and then evidence of the address, get it reported for the animal

Was it well fed? Etc. speaking from experience, police and RSPCA won't give a shit, sad as it is....

it Was a staffy type dog, didn’t look particularly thin to me, had a lot of energy seemed relatively young, no limps or anything but the man was booting it and whacking it with a branch from a tree. It looked like the dog had jumped to get a low hanging big branch from a tree and the owner was trying to get it off? But that makes no sense, after it looked like he was looking around the area for something and he was shouting at the dog…

Post it on social media and ask if anyone knows who it is. You could open a new Facebook account to do this or send it anonymously to a local Facebook group so they can name and shame him.
