To think that if you start a thread you could at least post on it at least once?

I’ve noticed recently so many threads where people start it, get loads of replies/advice/questions and then when you do “show all” they have not posted on the thread again at all after their initial OP.

AIBU to think “what is the point in this?” and that it makes for boring threads?

I agree it’s weird. I assume someone is bored or trolling. Or as above, maybe a lazy journalist.

A lot will be a wind the up and watch them go type trolls ,post really contriversial thread and never return ,you see it a lot with disabillity and disabillity benefits.

I find it odd too, especially the ones asking can you find me x or y, and they don’t even say thanks.

I saw one where the op said forgot all about this thread when they came back . I found that a bit odd.
