To disturb cat or drink tea?

The kitten grown cat who-was-rescued-almost-dead-and-hand-reared has curled up under a blanket and gone to sleep on my foot.

The blanket just sneezed.

My cup of tea (important first one of the day) is the other side of the room.

What do I do?

YABU - don't move, how can you consider being so evil and cruel

YANBU - you can't function without caffeine and it's now a pampered adult cat not a half-dead ball of fluff

I need to hoover upstairs but the cat is fast asleep in his the spare bedroom. So until he wakes up I will have to leave it.

Me too 🤣 let sleeping cat lie , no tea for you !

Hoppinggreen · 31/05/2022 12:44

I’m sorry I don’t understand the question

flower04958 · 31/05/2022 12:49

YABU for even considering your needs as comparable to the cat's. Shame on you.

Basilbrushgotfat · 31/05/2022 12:56

He has moved! But only to my lap lol

I have a lot to do today and I'm very thirsty 😄

Don't you know that cats are the boss, so you never, ever disturb them, they will get you back when you least expect it if you do🙀

LakeTiticaca · 31/05/2022 13:16

You are not even a proper cat slave if you even have to ask this question 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Devotedcatslave · 31/05/2022 13:18

Was there no one you could call to come and bring the tea over? Everyone knows you can't wake a sleeping cat, and its a great excuse for not having to get up and get things for yourself! I think your cat needs to work on your training, as you have clearly not yet learned the rules properly.

Basilbrushgotfat · 31/05/2022 13:20

Well 2 hours and counting...On the one hand, he's sweetly washing my hand but on the other, he's found my bladder...

You have no needs in life. You are his slave. Deal with it.

(From this morning when I couldn't change the duvet cover at the moment I wished to, because my cat was sitting on it and disinclined to move....)

Mabelface · 31/05/2022 13:33

Intergalactic law states that if you have a cat asleep on you, you can't move.

Basilbrushgotfat · 31/05/2022 13:36

I made it to the loo but sat down to reply to an email and he's back on my feet.

I still haven't my tea.
