I often order 1 scoop of each and eat them all together. The combination of chocolate and lemon is delicious!

I also love cinnamon ice cream, served with red fruits it’s a great desert in terms of flavor, presentation and how easy it is to prepare when you have guests.

There's a farm, not too far from me, that does the most delicious blackcurrant cheesecake flavour. Absolutely heavenly

I had fig and mascarpone once in Spain and practically wept with joy. Never seen it before or since! Best ice cream I’d ever had!!

I also love lavender ice cream. I had it at a restaurant years ago, loved it and later found a recipe to recreate it. We had it with dh's amazing tarte tatin.

Rum and raisin.
I had a lovely banana ice cream at Filey beach a couple of weeks ago though, it was fabulous.

Thorntons toffee one. Can't get it now though.

Lidl's rum and raisin; it has to be that one as nothing else comes close IMO

This. I love a good fruit gelato. I don't like chocolate or caramel.

Some nice fruit flavours I've had are blueberry, watermelon, apple and tayberry.

I like Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia, although I think that’s technically frozen yoghurt.

My go to is mint choc chip, although I’ll go rum and raisin if it’s available.

The best shop-bought ice cream is Hagen Daaz (sp? ) mango and raspberry.

I yes, the peach ice cream was amazing.

I like a posh coffee icecream or cheap raspberry ripple.

I once had a trifle ice cream in St Ives, Cornwall, it was full of frozen custard, strawberry jelly, sponge cake and vanilla cream. Beautiful. I think about it too much

Oh and there’s a cafe in Aberaeron, Cardigan Bay, called the Hive, that sells honey ice cream. It’s fab.

I couldn't pick just one, it depends on my mood. My favourites are:

Mint choc chip
Cookie dough
Really rich cocoa-y chocolate
Anything with a crunchy caramel/nut combo

The only ones I dislike are X-flavoured ie vanilla-flavoured rather than containing actual vanilla.

The Fort Cafe on Sidmouth seafront does an amazing ginger clotted cream ice cream.
I've had Damson icecream in the Lake District (seems to be a thing up there) and that was really nice.

I've never found an apple ice cream before or since, and it was amazing.
