Wind in garden!

I feel really silly about my frustration so please put me straight.
Our neighbour doesn’t like us. She doesn’t talk to us and I’m fine with that. Lots of reasons all,pathetic.
so last week a gust of wind blew our furniture cover over onto a tree in her garden. It was quite high so I sent a text and said it’s ours and could we have it back. No answer. Today it blew down and I sent another saying I would be going to get it. No answer. Tried to go with my son but gates locked.

shall I just get another one and forget it? It’s not worth the heartache is it?
AIBU for being a bit frustrated? I know it’s a minor problem of course I do. My husband has cancer so I have bigger things to worry about. Put me straight!

Yeah I'd forget about it too op. Not worth the hassle..

When you are facing something like cancer the little things can become bigger than they really are. I think I'd opt for the buy new and smile sweetly at her next time you see her.

Thanks. That’s a very sweet thought. It does make me sad when people aren’t nice about his situation. It’s a tough journey and I do get upset about little things x
