Just that really I’m posting on behalf of friend! No children just her and her husband ! Basically is it a nice place to live ? Both work in London! Not bothered about the night life ! Just looking for a nice relaxing place to live.

It's very nice, small maybe boring, but very nice

It's lovely. In a very expensive, nothing happens, pretty but people will give you looks if your lawn isn't up to snuff type of way.

I don't mean that to sound disparaging. It's genuinely nice, but that's really all there is to it.

I live a few miles away - it’s about nice (and naice) village. Peaceful, few nice pubs, not sure about schools etc - are they older?

I’d happily move there myself in a few years

I don't know it intimately but my FIL's (RIP) partner (again, RIP) lived there. It's beautiful. I always had this fantasy of upping sticks and raising the kids there. It seemed so quiet and idyllic. But that ship has sailed for us. We'll probably be moving to the Netherlands.

It’s pleasant and peaceful. But not the easiest place to commute to London from if that’s a requirement (it’s a drive to Gerard’s Cross station and train ticket prices are high)

It's a quiet but pleasant place to live. Not a great deal there but you could venture to Gerrards Cross for bigger shops.
I have been informed that buses are unreliable and not very frequent.
