Do you *actually* watch TV with your kids?

My husband always say oh it's like that episode of Octonauts or Bloody cocomelon where this happened/the song goes like this?

When my kid watches TV, I am either off doing things that need done as it's the only chance I'll get, or I'm scrolling my phone ignoring the rubbish on the television! I'm never watching the show and taking in the storyline or the lyrics?? Am I the only one???

To be fair, when he was younger and going through a bad sleep phase, he'd be up for 2 hours every night and we would like together and watch Moon and Me. The song still makes me twitch, and I always feel very sad when they all get into bed at the end of the episodes.

Now he's 5, I don't watch anything with him. He's not into films yet but when he does want to watch a good film, I'd definitely watch that! Although probably still scroll my phone Bear

I do recognise most certain episodes of peppa pig, but that's it, and only because with four kids moderately close in age, that shit was on repeat for nearly a fucking decade.

I like a bit of kids tv, so I watch some with the little ones, and YouTube with the bigger ones.
