A couple of years ago I got chatting to a guy on holiday - we got on, had a few drinks and chatted on Facebook for a few more weeks. It was all quite low key and both youngish (mid 20s) and in different countries. I made a mental note to look him up if I went back there on hol and was still single etc. His last message to me was a bit intense (“Sarah Sarah sarahhhhh”) and I remember thinking hmm not really sure how to reply, so left it there.
im going back to his country soon, so added him on Instagram. He immediately accepted the request and asked to re-follow. I’m not too good at checking insta and left it a few days before I followed him back. Have since seen that he’s deleted his request, he just have left it up for a week and then deleted today 😢 im still following him, which he did accept and has left up.
I’m a massive overthinker and was trying to guess whether he was single etc etc so just didn’t check properly and left the follow request waiting. Planned to accept and then message him saying I would be in his area and did he have any recommendations.
have I fucked it? Am I overthinking way too much? Do I just leave it all here?
