At the Johnny Depp & Amber heard trial?
lots of noise in the press due to AH bringing her up when on the stand.

Court resumes tomorrow.

She’s very private. I can’t see her testifying. They’re not on bad terms though and I’m sure she would be willing to provide a statement that the incident never happened/there was no abuse.

Does it mean they can bring up past relationships as a whole or just that one? I mean Amber Heard has actually been arrested for violence against a partner so has she opened the floodgates?

I’m sure I read that past partners wernt allowed to be brought into it, for example JD having Vanessa Parids as a character witness. But because AH brought up KM it now gives JDs team the right to call her up as a witness for JD.

@TheBigPeach Yes, I think it’s pretty sure she will. It’s been written/said that she treated her sister like a dog and her mum & sister were scared of her, but who knows what’s true.
It’s all so bizarre

I heard that a few years ago too. I did see a video of her sister on some reality show where the other contestants were asking her if it was true AH battered her.

I came into it fully expecting to believe Amber (despite being a JD fan), but she is coming across terribly and her testimony lierally looks like a bad casting audition! She has far too much "story" to tell, endless face pulling... "My dog stepped on a bee".

That said, with his numerous addictions he must've been an absolute horror to live with and it was clearly a toxic relationship. Unless she's a complete psychopath then there must be some truth in what she's saying and he's certainly written some horrifying things about his ex partners to other people.

I think he's likely to lose the case but will manage to resurrect his career by showing she was just as bad as him.

I think he has the benefit of loyal staff who will cover for him, whereas she was a lot less likeable (and not paying the bills).

i just can’t imagine going to court and my relationship/personal life being scrutinised while everyone throughout the world hears it! Unbelievable. And this goes for both Vard/Rooney y and Depp/Heard.

It’s 2pm U.K. time it will start, they were starting at 10am in the time zone they’re in but they’ve brought it forward to 9am to try and get everything in as it’s on a set time limit.

To those who find it weird people treating it like entertainment - are you too young to remember the O.J. Simpson trial? Now THAT was a weird thing for people to treat as entertainment, the epitome of the words “media circus”! I feel like this pales in comparison but it’s hard to compare as social media didn’t exist then.

Why would Amber Heard panic? Genuine question. Even if Kate Moss denied Depp was abusive to get it wouldn’t prove anything about his relationship to AH.

I certainly think that their relationship was a bad one and I don't think for moment that there wasn't explosive arguments. But I don't believe that JD was abusive to AH. They were as bad as each other.
And they were warned not to bring up past relationships. Now AH has then JD team may ask Kate Moss to testify and his ex wife. Equally they can also bring in AH ex wife in to tell the court about the abuse she received from AH.

Johnny Depp was arrested for trashing a hotel room whilst Kate Moss was in it. She can hardly testify that he was never violent or abusive around her can she?

@newnamethanks But Ellen Barkin is testifying and wasn’t her relationship with him before KM 🤷🏻‍♀️I don’t know, I don’t see how they’re allowed to bring past relationships to go against him, but not in her side
