Not sure how accurate this is as just seen it on Facebook, normally I don't begin threads, but omg if this intelligence is accurate.

Dishwasher in the 1950's?
Renew your mind and body?

A lot of it rings true, but I'm not sure about those things.

It is bollocks and it’s not real. Nobody had a dishwasher in the 50s! Genuine proof that you can’t believe everything you see on Facebook.

This thing is definitely a fake but the attitudes are very slightly exaggerated versions of the way people saw things. This really is the way wives were expected to behave pre the 60s sexual revolution.

Just read this. Recognised it was not normal. Realised some of it is my life. Realised that’s why my life is shit and I am depressed.

too far in, can’t see it changing so…

There were a few around - more common in the States though. Some of the other terminology leads me to think it is an extract from an American book. Dust cloth for instance. That's American English for duster.

My mum sent me this a couple of weeks ago. No idea if it's real but it made us laugh.

Holy smokes

I wonder who was the first 50s era woman to read that and think, 'No, no way, not happening.' A trailblazer!
