DH is away with friends
The friends wives have posted on SM that some of them are out
I was supposed to be out tonight but friends cancelled last minute
A few friends are away on holiday (not together)
I'm now at home with DC who just want to game all night
I've got itchy feet to go out but no one to go out with and I've got DC as I cancelled childcare for tonight
I feel so alone

I'm working in A&E. I've just been punched by a patient. We aren't all having fun.

Can’t you arrange to meet the friends’ wives? I would!

Did quite a bit of gardening and view sitting outside with a drink enjoying the flowers

No I'm in, drinking tea while dh watching cup final...dc doing their own thing. Tbh I hardly go out anyway, eveytime something is arranged it gets cancelled or people drop put. I don't initiate anymore :-(

Nope. I’ll be working all evening, moderating exams. All alone for once (except for my darling dog) and I’m in heaven!

No, I'm home alone. Been feeling quite lonely since Ex left me. And teen DD is with him this weekend.

I'm going to have dinner in a few minutes and then curl up with a glass of wine and watch the Eurovision. Come join us on the Eurovision thread.

im sitting outside on my own. DH is watching TV, DD in her room all day doesn’t want to come out (ASD). Feeling lonely as sorry for myself.

Going out out on a sunny day to beach or beer garden isn't as fun as it sounds. Everywhere is packed and people go a bit crazy in the heat! I'm just sitting in the shady garden with cold spritzers from the fridge. Peaceful.

I'm in. DS hates the sunlight and the heat. I tried to sit in the garden with a drink but he said he was lonely, so now we're in the lounge with the curtains shut and he's watching YouTube videos.

I'm home alone but very happy! Busy day at work, DH away for the weekend .. a night in with a glass or two of wine, a nice meal, my choice of tv to watch and no one to have to talk to is my ideal evening .

We’ve all got Covid so I’m stuck at home too. DC are virtually asymptomatic and absolutely climbing the walls with boredom. Usually love staying in to watch Eurovision but feeling rotten so won’t manage the traditional booze and will be asleep before the results!

Nope. Male members of family watching football, me on my own in the garden. DH not feeling well so plans to see friends were cancelled. Has been so nice in garden though that I haven’t wanted to go in.

I'm recovering from surgery and I'm wiped out from doing nothing. I might call it a night at this point.

I'm in with my toddler and baby, about to embark on the epic ball ache that is bedtime. The same old shit as every other day. I can see the beer garden of my local from my bedroom window too!! Waaaa.

I'm at home too on my 2nd glass of wine and some ironing that I may or may not do .....

I've been gardening most of the day and am in now watching TV and with cup of tea.

Can't drink alcohol at moment as have infected foot and on antibiotics. Never been affected by them before but haven't felt too great on these and still have 3 days left to take.

Hope tomorrow I may be able to get my shoes on as been wearing slippers and flip flops since last Sunday as foot is still swollen. 🙁

I've just baked a batch of chocolate chip cookies, got my Cherry Pepsi out of the fridge and am getting ready to watch "The Widower" on ITV Hub. I love a bit of time to myself!

Not really. I was enjoying a peaceful drink in the garden, chatting and listening to the birds, but that has been ruined by boy racer **s with their modified exhausts racing mindlessly round the country lanes. All you can hear atm is the revving and explosions from their engines. They sound like goddam planes coming in to land. It's absolutely ridiculous. I don't know how they are allowed to get away with it. WHY do they have to create so much noise?! I don't want to spoil their fun. If you enjoy cars and want to spend your money on one, great, good luck to you. But don't ruin other people's evenings.

Home alone, lovely evening here too but can't sit outside or even have the windows opening thanks to chav neighbours barking dog.
