I kinda regret not relocation to the seaside before my children became school age
but I’m not sure we would have been able to do that back then due to the costs etc
then all of a sudden it feels to late to go

The pp regrets getting a dog...

I really regret not visiting my gran before she died. I was in the middle of uni exams and not coping, and I just thought she had longer.

Not doing well enough at school
Not going to university
(both intertwined with 'you need to get a job, leave school, start paying your way' )
Having DC young
Not travelling
No career -Taking on caring responsibilities instead
Not being confident enough to change things when I could have.

It feels so self absorbed when others have real traumas in life.

I’m not one for regrets but I wish someone had opened my eyes to all the different careers out there and giving me the confidence to go for it.

Now mid 30s and trying to figure out how I can retrain. It’s hard.

i do have a good career, pays well, I just hate it or maybe I just hate my boss?

Not really. Not because my life has always gone swimmingly (it really hasn’t) but because the worst things e.g. bereavements have been out of my control and I’m very much a glass half full sort.
