To not understand how to do a holiday with an old sleepy dog

Up until now our holidays have consisted of walking in amazing british locations.. walking cliff paths etc
.. basically 8 miles a day, a pub at end . We go in camper van . We are not hotel / bb people.
During covid our much loved dog (13 yo) developed a knee problem that cant be fixed and is managed with pain killers from.vet. she is very sleepy and has 3 tiny wee walks a day and the rest of the time is happy to be with me in the house or garden. She isnt in pain and is happy.

We have just booked leave but we have realised that we cant do our normal holiday .. and are wondering is there any point going to a place with beaufitul coyntrtside if we cant really access it. She has a pram as cant walk far.
So my questions are
Has anyone else been on holiday with an old dog that cant walk far and is sleepy?
What do you actually do on holiday with an old dog? We wd normally pack food and walk all day. What sort of places are good? Presume little villages ... anyone know pretty places that may work in
Devon / cornwall/ dorset.. herefordshire/ shropshire.. and south wales .. cotswolds( we have plans to go to all , but can adjust to fewer places but wd appriciate info about all/ any so we can choose..

...please.. as i said we are normally in ruggered places but need to be in ,i assume pretty and quiet pottering places where she can rest in her dog pram( she is happy in pubs !) We cant leave her behind she would pine / cause stress at rhis age .thank you.

Llandudno!i had thought of that too! .
Cotswolds one of places really fancy too.
Canal boat sounds ace and cosy but at the mo we are on very limited funds so it must be a camper van .
Thanks for suggestions re a carrier but due to.pain possibility she cant use those.. but we can use a pram.
Thanks so so much your suggestions are so appriciated!

Aw, she has a good life.

As bless her. Could you take her out in her pram when you go for walks? I've just got back from Cornwall and saw a few people doing this.

Sorry, there was a glitch there and I could only see your first post. All the other posts have appeared now so ignore my previous post!

Cycling, pulling her in a trailer?

Canal tow paths are always flat and good to walk on. Could you go in camper van and book to park it in camp sites along a canal route. During day you could take dog for walk in pram along tow paths and still get the pub lunch.

Where are you OP? I have a very large old fashioned hard bodied pram that has excellent suspension. I want to get rid as I sentimentally kept it for my dd as it was her pram as a baby but she wanted a modern one. I will happily give it away but don't just want to take to tip. It could fit a big dog bed in the base and blankets too.

Our old girl was a boxer husky mix so a lot bigger. We bought one of those trolley things for moving young children around when they get tired. We put blankets and her things in it and she travelled and slept in it when she had had enough. It was difficult to see her that way but we know she spent her last few days happy as she did pass away a little while after the holiday.

North Norfolk has a coastal bus so you could walk a bit along the coastal path and get the bus back. Holkham Hall has a nice (flat) deer park to wander in and a nice café at the Hall to break it up and let your dog have a kip. The beach café at Wells is also very dog friendly for a rest after a beach walk.
