He got divorced and was living with them for a while and is now in his own home.

However, he is still dropping his laundry there to be washed, dried and ironed.

AIBU to think that this is utterly ridiculous? He works full time but nothing out of the ordinary. I also work full time but would never dream of asking and would say no if she offered.

I just feel like this is sending out the message that domestic chores are a woman's responsibility.

Clearly he’s pathetic. I’d think less of both of them though, her for enabling him and him for putting on her. Leave them to it.

Pathetic man child with a woman willing to do his shitty domestic chores for him as he couldn't possibly be expected to do them himself...

Makes me cross, no wonder he's single...

It's none of your business

It's between your mum and your brother

I'm a cleaner and have worked for a couple of single men, one a divorcee. They paid me to launder and iron their clothes as well as cleaning while they were at work. That's really the same principle isn't it? They are outsourcing the "women's work".

In fact, lots of working women/ couples do the same thing; they outsource their housework and laundry to a woman. The only difference being that they're paying.
