Aibu for having an intense celebrity crush...

I guess with all the doom and gloom in the world I'm looking for escapism and seem to have developed a rather intense crush on a celebrity! I'm 43, married, have kids and should know better 😂I've even booked tickets for see said celebrity crush in November because I can't stop thinking about him 😮Obviously he's going to be totally besotted with me and we'll run away into the sunset together with my husbands blessing because "I'm a bloody nuisance and he can put up with me instead" 😂

Yes he has a male partner. He is lovely though. I follow him on Facebook and so felt for him when his Border Terrier died. I have a Border Terrier too so I think that's why.

ive suddenly developed an infactuation with one of the libertines. Scroll through lots of photos of him over the last 20 years. Even have has dreams of him!

if DH found out I would die of embarrassment.

it definitely has kept my mind off doomscrolling though about the whole Russian threat

I have recently developed an obsession with Joey Votto. And I know that y'all don't know who that is. He's a baseball player for the Cincinnati Reds which is where I live. He is just really lovely and charming and adorable and I just love him so much. I've attached a photo that I took at last Friday's game for your perusal.

I had one of those last year. Someone in a series I was really into. I think it was stress related, it got quite intense. Sadly he isn't super famous or very active on insta so it eventually withered through lack of supply, so lucky you with your "evening with".

Only thing is, what if it wears off before then and it just feels really random when you go?

I have a crush on the BBC's foreign correspondent, Damian Grammaticas. Not sure if he counts as a celeb, but he has lovely eyes, a fab speaking voice and he's very clever.

He's probably a good 20 years younger than me though. 🙁

He has indeed, although I did like the spiked fringe look. He supports a horse rescue called My Lovely Horse, he and his girlfriend have loads of animals, so around good guy I think.

I have no idea who this guy is - is he on British tv or something? I'm in Ireland and have never heard of him. Anyway, crack on OP, whatever gets you through these days of endless depressing news.

Every now and then I get intense celeb crushes, usually lasting a few days/ weeks. I've figured out it's when I'm stressed or a bit bored with life, I guess it beats drinking too much!
