AIBU to think nothing helps 'cure' sciatica?

I believe that I have sciatica (I'm 25). I get really bad pain in my back and I can feel it running down my right leg too. I have this pain every single day and every single day I take painkillers for it. I'm just a bit fed up to be honest because it's not healthy that I take painkillers everyday and that sometimes the pain is so bad that I struggle with tasks that other people my age do with ease.

AIBU to think that this is how the rest of my life will be?

Look up Tom Morrison on YouTube /Facebook. He has some amazing exercises that really helped my sciatica.

Well it's not gonna be cured if you haven't had a diagnosis or treatment yet.

I had an MRI to find the cause then physiotherapy which has cured it completely

Physio and stretches can help. Eventually I had an MRI and it turned out I had a slipped disc. It did heal with physio though. No surgery and pretty much completely pain free now.

I had it about 2 years ago -cause bulging disc.
Much better now apart from residual numbness in affected leg ankle that will not go away
