I'm sorry in advance, I am very distressed.

My DF was a very troubled person and I had a difficult life because of that.

My parents are both very emotionally abusive.

I think my DF is dead (it is not relevant why)

Is there a way to tell?

DogsPantsx Google the name. Obituaries come up that way. This is how I traced many of my family tree and discovered where they were buried.

Would you not just ask your mother OP? I realise you're low contact but if you need to know maybe you should just call her this one time?
