Lack of libido due to recurring infections

My male partner of two years seems to be sick ALL THE TIME!
He is now heading Into his third week of antibiotics for a mild chest infection. His libido is dead. Days he just doesn't feel like it.
AIBU to feel frustrated with this?
Perhaps I'm frustrated with the constant illness and lack of initiative to get out and get air and exercise.
First post and grateful for the chance to ask and remain anonymous as I feel like a witch for being selfish.
It seems constant for weeks. One thing after another and a lot of pity partying going on.

I think YABU. While I understand it might be frustrating, presumably he doesn't actually want to be ill and he can't help it. Expecting him to want to be out and about "in the fresh air" isn't actually going to clear up a bacterial chest infection any quicker.

I never want sex when unwell and would be very unhappy with DH if he expected me to be up for it despite knowing I wasn't feeling good and if he was impatient for me to recover just to get sex that would also be a turn off. 3 weeks of chest infection sounds bloody miserable and I don't blame him for not feeling in the mood. Moping and self-pity might be annoying, but that's a separate issue I think.

DH and I both have chronic health issues that flare up and mean we don't feel up to it sometimes and we have recently had a bad run of illness thanks to the kids picking up all sorts and the end result is tag teaming being ill, being exhausted or caring for sick kids. And of course that takes its toll on our enthusiasm for sex and we can end up going quite a while without. Both of us would like it to be otherwise when it's like this, but we remember to still show each other kindness and affection and know that things will improve once we're all over the various germs.

Are things fine when he's not ill? I think that's what matters. If they're not, the illness is a red-herring.

I think its unfair. GPs are very careful about handing out antibiotics like sweets now so there must be an issue.
I remember having cycstitis for almost two years once and being in permanent agony before it finally cleared up - we never got to the bottom of it.
My ex husband non stop pestered me for sex during that time and was moody and grumpy and it made me rethink our relationship.
Are you not more concerned about why your husband is ill all the time and what might be underlying the issue?

Yes in this case I think YABU
