MRI...but no staff to read it

I will never understand, how some departments, in some hospitals, literally grind to a halt on a weekend because there's not the Dr's/consultant's etc.

MRI done, for a seriously unwell inpatient, but no staff to read it until at least tomorrow afternoon, or maybe Tuesday.

Dsis had a nurse advote for her and got the on call consultant to come in, to examine her and make treatment plans. If the child's nurse is unable to help. Ask to speak to the matron.

Nurses are a great resource, ask them for help. Dsis hasn't got cancer but she has iih (a condition where the pressure in her brain is to high for unknown reason), she found lumbar puncture helped manage her symptoms until she had a stunt put in on her second admission (a different plan was made but she got worse). Lumbar puncture was the best form of pain relief for her. I hope the child in question also finds respite from the symptoms and an effective treatment plan is made ASAP.
