AIBU to assume that if a (just turned) 2 year old is calling her mother's boyfriend of a year, daddy - then she is being told to - "this is daddy".

Father is in her life. She calls him daddy also, all aunties and uncles are called by their name.

Show photo of mother's boyfriend and she says "daddy". Mother denying thats what she calls him.

Why are you sitting doing photo lineups with a toddler? I'd be restricting access to you also, that is a totally deranged thing to do.

And yes, as above my toddler went through a phase of calling all men daddy. Very embarrassing in the supermarket!

My ds went through a stage of calling EVERY MAN except his own father daddy at age two I mean literally everyone my ex took him to see his family the one day his cousin said hi kiddo ds said hi daddy! 😳 it was just a phase funny while it lasted especially when you tried to convince ds who his dad actually was he said no that's grandad >ouch<
