Finally, after 10 years of nappies, we are seeing DD dry at night (she'll be 8 next month).
Everyone who says boys are harder to train and children with SEN are harder to train... meet my DD.
DS said "no more nappies" and took them off at 2 1/2 and took about 6 months to be completely dry in the day and another year before he was dry at night.
DD started refusing to wear nappies at 2 but even in Reception, following many many trips to the continence nurse, had more days with than without accidents. Y1 was better but finally she's now out of nappies at night (but it's only a week now, we are still lifting her just in case, and she'll be taking a pull up on her Beaver sleepover this weekend to be absolutely sure!)

Anyone want to buy some age 6 approx washable nighttime nappies?

Here, have a small

Yay!

From me! What a relief. I have 5 DC, and none were quick to toilet train or be dry overnight. It's so good to get it over and done with finally!

Yay!

My sister had some issues with her youngest. Turned out that blackcurrant juice was an irritant to the bladder. When my niece stopped drinking ribena, she was dry overnight almost immediately.

The nurse has her off blackcurrant, all fizzy drinks, and artificial sweeteners. So she demands organic elderflower cordial Hmm
Any tips for slightly cheaper squash gratefully received, as she still needs to up her bladder size a bit more!
