To ask why threads disappear without explanation?

Just that. I invest in a thread. It disappears. No reason given. Just gone. Why?

Must be the school holidays when even a thread asking a simple question gets the try hard snippy posters. I remember when Mumsnet was all fields and people were actually funny with their quick, dry retorts.
