To ask why workers have no rights for 2 years?

And also to ask if you think it's right?
I understand that from an employers point of view they need to test you out but surely that's what probation is for?
Why has the balance tipped so far in employers favour? I suppose it might make employees perform better, ensure loyalty and negate expensive tribunals therefore helping businesses keep money.

It’s like when you start a new relationship, have their true colours shown in the first 6 months?

Much of our employment law was brought into line with EU. It is more about gaining rights after two years' service than not having them initially for employer's benefit. Discrimination rights start immediately though.

Workers rights continue to be eroded, there are less unions. Keep voting Tory to see more of this.
