Lots of posts already around this subject today, but I’m interested in nutrition and always have been and I have read something about how the 2000 calories a day for women is massively over estimated,
so I’m just wondering if you have this amount? or more or less and whether you would class yourself as : over or /underweight
I personally seem to eat as many calories as my body requires a day - I actually don’t calorie count and don’t know what I have ,but I do eat what I feel like and stop before I get over full , this method seems to maintain my weight at exactly the same!
If I overindulge one day , I naturally seem to feel less hungry the next meal /or day!
I am probably underweight but about to gain massively if everything goes well, as I’m currently expecting!! And I do eat a lot of sugary snacks which I’d like to stop!

Like you, I was always able to eat absolutely any quantity of anything and still be whippet thin, whether I exercised or not, before I had DC.
The minute I stopped breast-feeding, my metabolism seemed to grind to a halt and has never been the same again.
Now I am trying to keep to 1500/day in recognition of my life style which isn't sedantry but not particularly active either.
