Sickness 48 hour rule

Family member feeling unwell and child vomited once yesterday evening. Would you want to see them at an outdoor event tomorrow or would you expect them to follow the 48 hour rule. They don’t think it’s a bug. AIBU?

Thanks for everyone’s replies. Really helpful, a variety of responses but lots of people seeing it the way I do too which makes me feel less unreasonable. I have two young children and the family in question have three little children so although outdoors the kids would all be in close contact, sharing toys and putting them in their mouth too so lots of chance for easy transmission. Given this and having an important week ahead where I can’t afford for anyone being ill I feel more confident sticking to my guns and saying I’m not happy to mix. Have a lovely Easter.
