To not want to accept a temp job

I was given my contract today, it sends it will end on the 2nd of July Sad
I have to put my 4 month old into nursery for just 3 months!
Nobody can tell me if there's a chance I would be kept on
I have a family member who can take my children to nursery and by the time they need picked up, my other half will be finished work but it means he is only seeing them for an hour before they go to bed (I suppose this is just the same if I wasn't working so not really sure what my point in! Very stressed and panicking)

I'm just so unsure, I think our UC claim would be closed for the 3 months as well as we would both be earning, so it seems a lot of stress for not much gain? Someone give me some insight I haven't yet thought of please

The rest is your choice and personal circumstances.
But UC don't close your claim until your claim has been 0 for 6 months in a row.
You could also add your childcare bill and they usually pay some of that, ip to 85% if I remember correctly. So there would be an added element meaning you might still be entitled.

Please tread carefully. I know of some people affected who accepted 'temp to perm' employment with the whole it will last; their confirmation from the recuitment agency apparently had an expiry date which came true. Sadly when an expiry date is seen, it isn't the greatest.

I know one time when stuck between 2 jobs when one indeed turned as a temp to perm and the agreement made some reference to only lasting 6 weeks and 'on' weekly review, I did beg the involved recruitment agent to tell the truth and laid out what it meant if I turned down a 'permanent' job - could you do similar? Hope this helps.

Yeah I've already got it in written confirmation it will end on the 2nd of July.
I was told at the interview there is always a chance it could extended and made permanent but nothing good like that ever happens to me lol so maybe I should just go with the view of being there for 3 months, an updated reference and more experience I guess?
