To tell them / her to stop bringing things?

And how can I say without sounding rude?!

Basically I've had a baby and my step children's mum keeps giving me or sending DSC with things. Every time they come they bring something else, old toys, clothes, room decor.

It's not an overwhelming amount but still.. I don't want it!

There were a couple of things that DSC personally wanted to give and they did, which was very sweet and appreciated but I really don't want anymore tat that will just be hanging around.

AIBU to ask them to stop bringing things round now?

There is backstory here. It's been quite a strained relationship with their Mum in the past to the point where she does just generally annoy me so I don't know anymore if I'm unreasonable or not when it comes to things that involve her.

Donate all unwanted items to charity.

@ElenaSt

Donate all unwanted items to charity.
Im really not wanting to start traipsing round charity shops dropping things off all the time.

If she doesn't want them, she can take them to the charity shops!

Send them back each time with a note saying that you don't need them, hopefully once you've done this a few times she'll get the hint.

Send them back with it and follow up with a text along the lines of 'really appreciate you thinking of us, but now at capacity with what we can fit in cupboards!'
