Covid pass showing invalid. Travel tomorrow

Throwing this out there for help. Now panicking as my covid pass for trip to spain tomorrow is coming up as invalid on this site. www.spth.gob.es/spain-validator
It's been issued by the NHS (Wales), partner's is fine, issued by NHS England. Both look essentially the same and have same issue date.

Mine says invalid and out of date. WTF do I do? Flying tomorrow.

That's the one TUI directed me too. It just checks if your covid pass is valid and meets requirements. Mine doesn't, DP's does. Means he doesn't need to fill in any forms whereas I now know my pass isn't being read or isn't meeting Spain's requirements. That's why I'm so worried.

Hi I'm in Spain now.
Mine wouldn't upload either as had different last name to my passport, too late to change it on my NHS records.
I ticked the 3rd box on the passenger health form (think it is "other form of validation) and got the QR code.
After passport control there is a health control where they were scanning QR codes but not routinely checking anyone's documents.
So I wasn't asked for my vaccination status or my child's letter from 119.
So I'd tick 3rd box on the form, generate a QR then show your vaccine pass if they ask, which they almost certainly won't.

It's my QR code that's coming up invalid.

I have the paper cert, the barcode, the QR all appears good.

Spanish gov site says my code doesn't meet their criteria

I think the screen before you have 4? Options on your vaccination proof?
The last one I think is the option not to upload anything and just bring your own printed proof.

I remember another issue with that site where you have a choice of something like ‘full program’ or ‘booster’.
I could only proceed if I chose ‘full program’

Is it even mandatory to use that site to check validity? Can’t you just turn up with your vaccine pass?

We discover last week the day we flying to Paris our we invalid had been fine the night before! Luckily my dh checked. We printed them off and we're very much valid, not sure what's going on with the app, we have the Scottish version

I think the OP is not talking about the health locator form. The new guidance on the Spanish gov website says that you can use your EU form, and there is a new form on the website where you can upload your pdf to see if it’s valid. I generated three nhs pdfs yesterday and they all check as valid so I don’t need to do a health locator form.

But the OPs nhs form is not passing this new check.

So… have you had three vaccinations? Two normal and a booster?

Just checking your vaccinations are in date? Your last dose has to have been within the last 270 days to enter Spain.

First, second and booster all had as supposed to have been done. Booster was december 21. Doesn't make any sense.

alllokabrenna has it spot on - it definitely should work.

are you uploading the digital pdf (Not a scan of the postal copy)?

I wonder if it does any harm to do the passenger locator form anyway, but you can’t do that till 48 hours before you fly.

I would may generate a new nhs pdf and try again.

I did one and didn't upload the documents as I couldn't be bothered to fiddle between laptop and phone and it was fine on arrival

You don’t need the health form or a plf anymore as long as you are triple vaccinated. I work for sn airline and we just check the vaccines that’s it.

#CharlotteRose90 How do you check vaccines with your airline? Is by eye or by scanning? Mine obviously doesn't pass scanning checks

You don’t have to upload it
You tick other in the question where it asks Eu or Other
Then you just show it at the airport

look at my screen shot - there are no boxes to tick. It's a simple upload of cert. Works fine for DP. There is nothing for me to get wrong.

Another one who had nothing checked either to or from Berlin. We all had paper copies and nothing was asked for

Have you been on the nhs website and generated a new one? It will have a new date of validity on it, so if that’s the issue it might help.

Have rung Welsh helpline - they can only help with paper copies.

Have tried the generate a new one and it now works. No idea why the one for last week didn't. Don't care though.

thank god it now seems to work.

we check either the nhs app or the vaccination letter. Airlines don’t accept the card you need the app or letter.

My DP's QR codes were somehow the wrong way round on his app and certificate. I imagine this has been fixed by him having had the booster now, but before his vaccine was 'valid' with the first QR code and 'invalid' with the second, even though the words on the certificate were right, iyswim.

Travelled to Spain last month and had same issue that Spanish site couldn't validate my COVID pass.. I just checked the option to manually check documents at the airport. When I arrived at Spain they just had a quick look at my Covid pass on the NHS app on my phone and I was on my way.

Don't worry it will be fine.
