To ask how to improve horrible, fine hair?

I have medium length hair just past the shoulder but it’s so so so fine. No matter what I do - hair masks, proper blow dry, products - it never looks good. I get it cut every 6-8 weeks too. It’s really gappy and always looks really horrible down as it doesn’t just flow; the bottom of my hair is just full of gaps. Almost as if I’ve lost hair lol. I take vitamins everyday and my diet is fairly good.

I’d ideally want extensions but just can’t afford them to be honest.

Has anyone got any tips please? I’m tired if it looking so horrible all the time!

I've got thin flyaway hair. Bleach gives it body, so does a perm but best thing I've found is to go much shorter.

I've just started a similar thread! I've got super fine hair that has been made worse by the last hairdresser who layered it "messy" style, so random lumps of short and long hair everywhere. I'm at a loss what to do with it.

Mine was bra strap length and tbh scratty!! Now got a chin length style!! Lots of fullness and takes 10 mins to dry /style!
Chop it off op!!

I have fine hair that is usually OK, but very thin at the moment, post partum. I cut it short and love it. A chin length style also works nicely.

Regular highlights and short cut that you can style with mousse or gel. Unfortunately my hair has got even thinner with age. I always wanted a full head of thick wavy hairHmm

Me too. I cut my hair into a chin length blunt bob and suddenly it looks full and healthy, love it!

I'm the same. I keep mine chin length and use Matrix Biolage thickening spray. I've noticed I have less falling out when I take b vitamins. Have a look at nano ring hair extensions. i have these some times to fill out the sides (not full head) they are clipped in rather than glued so can be re-used if you look after them, but they do need to be put in by a hairdresser.

Clip in extensions or a Halo are great for thickening hair for occasions, they blend particularly well with fine hair

Cut your hair much shorter and start taking perfectil hair nails and skin by vitabiotics.

You can do nano rings yourself, all you need is pliers to squeeze the rings on, you can get the nano extensions on Amazon and they come with a plastic loop to get them into your hair, it is really easy!
